Beaver Bonanza
Sunday 15th May saw loads of Beavers from the District taking part in the County Beaver Bonanza. This years theme was books, so Stanmore & District Beavers dressed as characters from the Lion, Witch & Wardrobe. By all accounts, they had a brilliant day, and thoroughly enjoyed the activities that were there.

District Camp
8 groups took part this year and 207 young people enjoyed the sun (and the rain on Friday!) and had one of the best camps ever!
Thanks to the team for all the organising!!

District Sports Day
Sunday 18th September saw only 6 Groups take part in the District Sports Day at Barnet Copthall.

District Explorer Scout Archery and Shooting day
Alpine ESU proved themselves top of the gun at this years competition. Phoenix and Hawks were not far behind.

Harrow Flag Photo
Congratulations to 16th Edgware on winning BOTH the County Scout Camping Competition and the Harrow Flag District Competition! In the County competition, 4th Kenton were in 5th place and 1st Stanmore were 14th. From my observations during the weekend, the Scouts faced loads of tricky and interesting challenges, that needed all of their Scout training and experience. Thanks go to Alasdair, his team and all the Leaders that gave up their weakened to provide this great competition.

District Swimming Gala

District First Aid Competition
The District First Aid Competition was on Monday 21st November 2005 @ the 1st/6th headquarters. The 2nd Stanmore were declared the winners - congratulations, and the 1st/6th Edgware were the gallant runners up, there being no other troops to add to the challenge.

District Trophies can be engraved at ACE AWARDS. Please pay for this work personally (or group) and submit a claim to the District Treasurer for reimbursement. Please see Eddy Morris for more information.
9th Kenton have generously paid for a MASTER of the new Scout Logo - so if you would like anything engraved, you should not have to pay for the MASTER to be made first.
