Sports Day
Sunday 11th
September saw the District assemble at Roger Bannister, Harrow Weald for the
District Sports Day. Although some sections were unable to take part, those who
did brave the wind and threatened rain which did not arrive until we were in
our cars on our way home!

Remembrance Parade
This was the first year that Stanmore & District took part in
this significant act of remembrance and this is now an event firmly on the
calendar for future years.
District
Carol Service
A
huge number of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers together with Leaders, Parents
and friends took part in the District Carol Service on Monday 5th December,
with music from Alpine Explorer Scout Unit. Everyone enjoyed making a Christingle and it really felt like Christmas was getting
close singing Silent Night by candlelight! Thank you to everyone who took part
in any way. £185.77 collected during the
service will be sent to the Childrens Society, helping children who find themselves living on the streets.
